PopCorn Technology Challenge

Capernaum have been learning about the technology process. Their challenge was to invent a new flavour of popcorn. On day one the children tried a few different flavours, then they decided on their favourite one and made it again for the next day for judging. Miss Cote Davis, Mrs Waihi and Mrs Kelly came to judge using a very strict criteria. It was a very hard decision but the Poppin Poppers won!

Our Obstacle Courses

Capernaum have planned, designed ad implemented awesome obstacle courses for us to try. Way to go team!

Happy Birthay Miss Cote Davis

Our wonderful Teacher Aide Miss Cote Davis' birthday today. So proud of our beautful class making and baking and gifting to show our appreciation of the wonderful help she gives us all everyday!

Animal Clay Art

We finally got to finish our clay animal art from before LOCKDOWN. The children worked very hard from the design stage through to the making. We will paint them Monday!

Last day of Online Learning

I am super proud of my Capernaum class. Today was the last day of at home learning. I can't wait to see them all on Monday!

We are enjoying our writing this week. We have written our Book of the Road Poem to send to Karaka School in Papakura!

Reaching for the Stars

Wahoooo 2020 has started off with a whoosh. Sorry, the photos do not do the children's work justice. We are concentrating on Excellence and what that looks like. Our goal is to keep working on our best and reaching for the stars. Check out the song, we love singing that too!
